Nap III: Slyth Hive Playtest

Detailed report to follow later. Instead, only this cryptic snapshot, a tragic tableau frozen in time.

Of the doomed expedition of the Ozar, and the depredations of that band of ne’erdowells named Paul, Kent, Zark Crayfish and his loyal blade Fact-checker and the villainous Argus El, you shall have to remain tuned. Know only that their end was as ignominious as it was gruesome. And yes that is indeed a cohort of Brown Bears arriving belatedly to reinforce the wave of Mountain lions ravaging Kents poisoned corpus what of it? Argus El has just drawn away five menacing cougars using a potion of ventriloquism, is protected from the rest by virtue of a fortuitous Sanctuary spell and is preparing to see if he can outrun them through unmapped jungle (spoiler warning: He can't).  He died surrounded, or perhaps we should say, jammed, by 6 Bears.

The switch to AD&D went quite smoothly, and not having to count SF every initiative roll was great. The BTB rules explanation for interrupting spellcasting is horrendous, but the clarification of Initiative Roll = flipped Segment when spellcaster begins casting helps.

I've started playtesting properly On the OSR Pick-Up Games server. That is 'OSR Pick-Up Games' not the OSR server, they don't seem to play any games. Sunday 18:00 CET if you want to spectate. I will also have sexier tokens since the first batch is a little rough.

Slyth Hive is getting a release before NAP III. Hype!
