No Artpunk III
A downloadable game
We have gone where others dared not go, and performed deeds beyond the wildest dreams of men.
For a long time there has been a dearth of high-level adventures. That changes today. This exclusive collection contains 14 OSR adventures of level 7+ and higher, for OSRIC, Swords & Wizardry, OSE, ACKs and their oldschool counterparts, by both newcomers and veterans to the old-school gaming scene. Featuring adventures by J.Blasso (author of Skalbak sneer), the Byzantine, Gabor Csomos (Caught in the Web of Past and Present), PrinceofNothing (Palace of Unquiet Repose) and the peerless Ray Weidner (Peril in Olden Wood). Alongside almost 700 pages of adventuring material are helpful essays to introduce the novice DM to running and creating high-level content. Protect your domain from the terrible Cryolich, venture into the terrible Garden of Prosimya, or explore the Stygian Sanctum of Nyx, Goddess of Night. Face undead hordes, awakening gods, alien monstrosities, elephantfolk fanatics, demons and devils, cthonic horrors, and the armies of the dragon queen.
NAP III is the third volume of the winners of the legendary No-Artpunk Adventure Design Contest. Each heroic contestant was tasked with creating a unique adventure of level 7 or above for the best oldschool systems, restricted to 50 pages or less. Only the strongest entries were collected in this mighty tome, which seeks to demonstrate, by forceful example, the vibrancy and fun of high level adventuring in old school games.
I have added bookmarks for ease of use. Some adventures have excellent layout, others are more barebones. All are playable. You might want to snip out the adventure you intend to use for ease at the table.
It is free. As per previous contests, any proceeds will be donated to an Aids charity (het Aidsfonds) in the struggle against Aids and Artpunk.
So it is written. So it is done.
Happy gaming!
Update (25/6/2024): Myself and the winners got to discuss NAP on the inimitable CAG (classic adventure gaming) podcast.

Had a great discussion with Prince and some of the NAP III winners! https://open.spotify.com/episode/00rP0dhnMHFiT3Oo4FZXlL?si=ZnXX1qbYR0-4Aa5wOZSSc...
I'll put it in the tagline since its worth checking out for sure. As always a delight to be on.
Once, i have read the whole Stormlight Archive until today in less than 2 months. A Hundred Years of Solitude? Lasted me a holiday afternoon, period. Now, i am downloading this, with the idea of using this for inspiration in my projects. You say it's 700 pages of adventuring material? Great, i have enough food of thought for about two weeks tops. And i expect them to be glorious.
If you find yourself getting through material at such astonishing speeds that no mortal writing can match I will suggest plunking down a few hundred bucks and obtaining a full 10 volume set of the unabridged Mahabharata after you are done with this one. The 808-page penguin abridged edition is spectacular, and has many complete excerpts and translations, but one cannot help but feel that one is only scratching the surface.
There are plenty of good ideas and concepts in this collection to feed the appetites of many a gamer, but they are best enjoyed by actual play.
Dig in! Enjoy! And let me know how you liked them.
Typo on the opening page. "9th of July, 2024" Is prince a time traveler?
The all-consuming fire is rising!
Already planning some covert action on the office printer...
Now that's a display of overwhelming force. Leave your California compliant low-capacity artpunk magazines at home because we've got 694 pages of high pressure, belt fed, 21 x 29.7 centimeter real fucking A4. They used to hunt elephants with modules smaller than this. Wear hearing protection because otherwise the shockwaves will make you bleed out through your ears.
